Classes

Registration will open on March 4th at NOON.  Set your alarms, classes fill up quickly.
               
Some Notes about Classes & Registration
  • Account Balances  must be paid in full in order to register for classes.
  • Choose Carefully: Please choose your class(es) carefully as registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Waitlist Option: If your first-choice class is full, the Class Coordinator can place you on a waitlist.
  • ATTN:  Please don't sign up for a "safety" class and then ask to drop it later; we cannot accommodate changes.  The class you 'hold' temporarily may be someone else's top choice, therefore registrations are non-refundable.  Choose carefully.
  • Class Changes: If a spot becomes available in your first-choice class, the Class Coordinator will contact you if there is an opportunity to switch.
  • Registration Required in order to audition 
  • Class attendance is expected in order to maintain any show role(s) students are cast in

CYT Tri-Valley Classes


CYT Tri-Valley offers classes over the course of three sessions during the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Weekly classes last for two hours and run for ten consecutive weeks. A variety of classes are offered in drama, voice, dance, and specialty classes that vary per session. Most of the classes are small to ensure personal attention and growth. At the end of a CYT session, students will come away with improved skills in the area of emphasis. During the last week of class, a high-energy showcase is presented in which each class performs a brief prepared presentation to demonstrate to other students, family, and friends what they have learned over the session.  Every CYT student participates in the Class Showcase!  Parents, friends, and relatives are invited to attend, free of charge! 

* Students enrolled in a CYT class, ages 8 – 18, have the opportunity to audition for a CYT Broadway-style musical! Students ages 13 and up may work on a backstage crew or with the tech crew.

A CYT Teacher’s mission is to train and instruct students in such a way as to promote the development of character, self-esteem, and confidence. CYT teachers are qualified and experienced in the area in which they teach. They have been trained in the CYT methods of instruction and agree with the CYT values and outcome goals.  All CYT teachers have been background checked and adhere to our CYT Mission and Values. Our teachers truly care about their students and provide a constructive and fun environment for them to learn.
