Meet your teacher, Lauren Hammond! Lauren has a bachelor's degrees in both Social Communications, Psychology and Elementary Education, as well as a Masters in Education. She is a licensed teacher and has taught preschool, kindergarten, third grade and middle school mathematics. Lauren’s musical experience includes serving as a worship leader, extensive harmony training, quartet competitions, community and state-level choirs, as well as performing in numerous musical theater productions. Her theater experience includes performing in Beauty & the Beast, Worst Christmas Ever, Annie, and the Wizard of Oz. Lauren has served as a makeup artist for Lion King, Willy Wonka, Shrek and Narnia. Past shows as a Director or Assistant Director include Lion King Jr, Aladdin Jr, Alice in Wonderland Jr, Peter Pan and Willy Wonka Jr.; as well as various Christmas productions for churches. The joy that music brings is unquenchable!
