Description

Explore characters, plot details, purpose, obstacles, relationships, and emotions related to songs you will perform. Students are asked to fill in character details and will learn how to emotionally connect to the heart of songs. Come to the first class with a song you would like to work on first. Ideally you have watched/listened to the show. 


*Class students who are cast in 'Goosebumps the Musical' or 'Sound of Music' are expected to attend their CYT class weekly.  More than one class absence may affect the student's casting/participation in the show; a scene, a dance, a role, or the show.

I'm excited to be joining CYT this Fall! I'm a mama of 3 and homeschool my youngest who has caught the theater bug. I spent 14 years living in NYC where I graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Acadamy, got married and had two of my babies. I moved back to my home state 8 years ago and keep myself busy being a full-time chauffeur to my kids. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
